Meet Carl
After an accomplished 30-year career leading private start-ups and diverse public businesses to great achievement, generating revenue over $350 million and consistently strong profitability, Carl launched his second career, devoted to serving others. Carl initially chose “7 Mindsets”, a personal development and educational program, as the foundation of his mission to inspire individuals to lead happier and more successful lives. Carl has mentored hundreds of individuals on business, management and leadership throughout his lifetime. As a 7 Mindsets Ambassador & Certified Mentor, he empowered individuals to deploy their own mindsets to lead lives of fulfillment. Carl is a social entrepreneur, super-connector and dedicated advocate to serving the community at large.
In 2015 Carl joined forces with Don Busby, Founder and Principal of Commerce Business Advisors. As Senior Advisors and Brokers, Don and Carl facilitate the sale or acquisition of private companies on behalf of their clients, in addition to advising companies on growth and exit strategies. Don and Carl collaborate to broaden their impact on people’s lives, within the communities they serve and beyond. They are dedicated to inspiring other business leaders and entrepreneurs, by regularly contributing to diverse civic organizations from their success fees, providing a hand up to many individuals and families. Commerce Business Advisors supports Austin Gives, a philanthropic program of the Austin Chamber of Commerce.
At the start of 2018 Carl and Mark Eiland launched TMV Business Group, dedicated to securing Top Market Value for their brokerage clients. TMV Business Group will serve clients in selling and acquiring businesses, strategic business advisory and as advisors to start-ups, early stage and growth companies on raising capital.
Carl lives in the world class city of Austin, TX. He is a philanthropist, serving a number of Austin’s finest civic organizations. He jointly developed the C.E.O. Program (Community Employment Outreach) with Travis County Health & Human Services, a community based program, to mentor and coach previously incarcerated individuals on becoming re-employed and contributing to their community. Carl proudly serves on the Ronald McDonald House Charities Central Texas Community Advisory Council. He recently joined Caring for Cambodia as an Advisory Board Member. His most cherished hours were serving as a Leo Club Advisor at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Carl seeks to inspire others in the business community at large, to provide a hand up to the underserved and under privileged.
