Who We Are
Serving the Middle Market
Co-Leaders of NTA’s Investment Banking Team

Brian Wendler
Often called by other intermediaries and M&A advisors as a “broker’s broker”, Brian Wendler, Senior Managing Director, founded National Transaction Advisors (NTA) over 30 years ago as he was leading one of the largest business valuation firms of its kind while serving two of the largest business brokerage operations in the country: Business Brokers Network and later Murphy Business and Financial Corporation. During that time, he trained and provided deal structuring and transaction advice to over 10,000 business brokers, intermediaries, and M&A advisors. He has been involved in over 30,000 business valuations and machinery & equipment appraisals, and assisted in over 15,000 transactions.
Brian’s experience extends across a wide variety of industries and company sizes including, but not limited to, manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, construction, hi-tech, retail, as well as in professional practices, financial services, and in hospital-based and stand-alone medical practices and specialties. His overall professional experience includes over 40 years in business valuations, mergers and acquisitions, analysis and structuring of traditional and non-traditional private placement investments. That is real experience that money cannot buy.

We Are Professional Dealmakers
If you’re a C-Level Executive or a business owner, the last thing you want to do is reinvent the wheel and have to educate an M&A advisor on how to get a deal done. We know your business is unique and so is our process – it’s just not a cookie-cutter “one size fits all” approach.
National Transaction Advisors provides merger and acquisition, valuation and capital raising services to middle-market companies with sales between $5 and $300 million. You want to deal with a professional M&A team that has the experience and expertise to get the job done. Our deal team members have been with major companies such as: Macy’s, IBM, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, and many others. Not only backed by one of the largest business valuation and machinery & equipment appraisal practices in the country, (NTA affiliate, and Dallas-based National Business Valuation Services, Inc. which provides a go to market research and pricing analysis) but hand-picked, pro-brokers who have been in the merger and acquisition advisory business for decades.
The partial list of NTA’s M&A professionals (we call them “Preferred Partners”) are listed below. These seasoned “pros” have been in your shoes before as they have owned and operated their own businesses, successfully bought and sold businesses over many years, and more importantly, have successfully been in the M&A advisory world for decades. This means that you are backed by a strong, professional team that has the contacts to bring in other deal team professionals and expertise when you need them for: due diligence, auditing and/or quality of earnings, M&A legal transaction design, transaction tax analysis, post-acquisition integrators.

Why We Do It
Our Founders and Preferred Partners have hundreds of years of business experience and too many times over that period they would field the same general questions from business owners about how to generate more revenue, maximize profits and create significant business value.
For those business owners that thought they were ready to explore an exit the same familiar stories would come up about confusion and lack of direction on deciding if it was the right time to sell, how to price their business to sell, where/how to sell their business, and how to navigate the complexities of selling a business.
Our Founders have a passion for helping business owners and in 2002 National Transaction Advisors launched to work closely with privately owned small business owner to address their concerns and confusion and assist them with achieving their objectives of growing and exiting their businesses.
Our Mission
National Transaction Advisor’ mission is to secure Top Market Value for its clients.
At National Transaction Advisors, talking about putting clients first isn’t just talk. Our roots are firmly planted in the philosophy of listening to our client’s objectives and doing our best for and by our client. Whether we are helping our clients sell or buy a business or providing advisory services, National Transaction Advisors always operates with the highest quality knowledge, skill, and unquestionable ethics and integrity.

We respect our clients and expect the same back from our clients
We serve our clients with professional candor and to the best of our ability
